While LASERIQ takes reasonable care to produce accurate measurements and survey information, no guarantee is given that every measurement, drawing or observation will be suitable for every purpose or circumstance without further verification where appropriate.
What the service is not
LASERIQ provides independent kitchen and bathroom measured surveys only. The services provided do not constitute:
- A structural survey.
- A building survey.
- An architectural service.
- An engineering report.
- An electrical inspection or certification.
- A gas inspection or certification.
- A plumbing inspection or certification.
- Building Regulations advice.
- Planning permission advice.
- Professional advice outside the scope of the measured survey service.
Visible and accessible conditions only
Survey Packs are prepared using the visible and accessible conditions present at the property on the date of the survey. LASERIQ cannot verify or accept responsibility for concealed conditions, hidden defects or anything located behind walls, ceilings, floors, fitted furniture or other inaccessible areas.
Where surveys are carried out on properties that are under construction, undergoing renovation or otherwise incomplete, measurements and drawings reflect the condition of the property at the time of inspection only. Subsequent construction work, alterations or finishing works may affect dimensions, layouts or service locations.
Verify before you order
Although every reasonable effort is made to ensure accuracy, LASERIQ recommends that all dimensions, appliance specifications, clearances, service positions and other critical information are independently verified by the retailer, designer, manufacturer, builder or installer before manufacturing, ordering or installing bespoke or non-returnable products.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all information supplied to LASERIQ before and during the survey is accurate and complete.
Nothing contained within this website or any Survey Pack creates a professional relationship beyond the measured survey service that has been commissioned.
Limits of responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LASERIQ accepts no responsibility for loss arising from:
- Hidden or inaccessible site conditions.
- Changes made to the property after the survey.
- Information supplied by third parties.
- Information supplied by the customer that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Alterations carried out after the survey.
- Manufacturing, installation or design decisions made by third parties.
- Failure by any party to independently verify critical dimensions or site conditions before manufacture or installation.
Nothing contained within this website, these Survey Packs or this Disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under the laws of England and Wales.
