Information LASERIQ collects

When you get in touch or request a price, LASERIQ may collect your name, email address, telephone number, property postcode, project details, preferred timing and the content of your message. If you become a customer, LASERIQ may also hold appointment, correspondence, property survey, quotation, invoice and payment records.

How and why LASERIQ uses it

LASERIQ uses this information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange and deliver survey services, provide customer support, maintain business records, meet legal obligations and protect the security of the service.

Depending on the situation, the lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract with you, complying with a legal obligation, or the legitimate interests of LASERIQ in operating and improving the business and responding to enquiries. Contact-form details are not used for unrelated marketing without the appropriate permission.

Who receives the information

LASERIQ may use trusted providers for website hosting, business email, appointment management, accounting and professional support. They may process information only as needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become bookings are normally reviewed and deleted within 12 months. Customer, survey, transaction and tax records may be retained for up to seven years after the relevant service, or longer where a legal claim, dispute or other legal requirement makes that necessary.

International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, LASERIQ takes steps intended to ensure an appropriate safeguard or lawful transfer mechanism is used.

Cookies and analytics

This version of the website does not include advertising trackers or non-essential analytics cookies. The hosting provider may keep technical server logs for security and reliability. If optional analytics, calendars, payments or other third-party tools are added, this notice and the site’s consent controls should be updated before those tools are enabled.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information; restrict or object to its use; and receive certain information in a portable form. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Your right to object: where LASERIQ relies on legitimate interests, you can object to that use of your personal information. LASERIQ will consider your request and stop the processing unless there is a compelling lawful reason to continue.

Keeping information secure

LASERIQ uses reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
